Mentoring

Mentoring: The mission of the mentoring program is to provide one-on-one educational/life coach mentors, primarily but not exclusively, to foster care (dependent) youth between the ages of 13 and 23 and who are "aging out" of the foster care system.

Goals: To facilitate positive relationships between foster youth and professional adults to help youths clarify their goals and achieve academic success.

Outcome to date: More than 300 youth served, 95% enrolled in school.
